I'm a full time ceramic artist living at the base of the Tetons in Idaho. 

I make colorful, functional pottery inspired by the mountains, wildflowers, wildlife, and everything I love about the outdoors.

Each piece is thrown, painted, and carved by hand, making every one unique. I love creating everyday and making forms that you reach for every day.

My hope is that my pottery brings a little happiness to your home and makes your everyday routines a little more special.

Made Slowly, With a Whole Lot of Love

There's a lot that goes into making a single piece of pottery. And I suggest you take a class to find out!

From throwing on the wheel to painting and carving each little detail, everything is done by hand in my studio.

It's tedious and there's about 100 steps to get to the finish line but its almost always worth it... if the kiln gods are nice. 

No two pieces are exactly alike, and that's what makes handmade pottery special.

Chelsea Pottery Co. is a small family-run business, and while I'm the one making the pots, there's a whole lot of help (and pure mayhem!) that goes into keeping things running around here.
