Rubber plugs, these can be tricky to set and remove. I have found the most success by using tweezers to grab the center and the side to remove them.

Each with my stamped signature and MADE IN THE TETONS mark on the bottom of mug. Please embrace "perfectly imperfect" as this proves the pot to be handmade. All pieces are funtional and food safe, no funny business. Anything with GOLD is NOT microwave safe. I recommend handwashing for the longevity of handmade, but secretly put everything ceramic in the top rack of my dishwasher.
